There were riots at a Christian shrine in Istanbul

There was a disturbance at an Orthodox cemetery in one of Istanbul’s Christian shrines, Aya Lefter. Four men entered the cemetery grounds and dug a hole in search of treasure. Police revealed their identities through cameras installed nearby.

A search of the houses of the detainees revealed explosive devices and metal detectors.

They confessed to their act and said they had heard of treasure stored in the area but had found nothing.
