Armenian team returned from the AI Olympiad with a medal and certificates of honor

On September 8-12, the Armenian national team achieved success at the International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Gevorg Grigoryan, a student of Foton School, was awarded a bronze medal, and Eduard Arzumanyan and Sevak Yegorian, students of Shahinyan Physics School, were awarded certificates of appreciation.

The organizers of the Olympiad were the International Research Center for Artificial Intelligence under the aegis of UNESCO and the International Center for Research and Ethics in Artificial Intelligence.

90 students from 25 countries took part in the Olympiad. The competition was held in 2 stages: theoretical and practical.

A total of 105 students participated in other international Olympiads in 2023-2024 academic year and won 6 gold, 17 silver and 35 bronze medals.
