The President of Poland met with Polish observers from the EU mission in Yeraskh

From November 25-27, Polish President Andrzej Duda, on an official visit to Armenia, met with Polish observers from the EU mission in Yeraskh.

The head of the European Union mission in Armenia is Markus Ritter, while the deputy is Marek Kuberski, a Polish national. The mission was established in February 2023 for a two-year term, and its objectives include monitoring and patrolling the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, – stated the president on his X microblog.

During his two-day visit to Armenia, the president met with several high-ranking officials. Various issues were discussed, including Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. The establishing peace between the two countries was emphasized.

Separate meetings also highlighted the importance of economic and cultural cooperation between Armenia and Poland. The sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, including cooperation in education and technology.

Diplomatic relations between Armenia and Poland have existed since 1992. There are 9 international agreements between the two countries, as well as several non-legally binding international documents.
