Driving with winter tires will become mandatory
At the government session on November 28, it was decided that from November 15 to March 31 each year, driving with winter tires will be mandatory.
An exception will be made this year, with the deadline for changing tires set for December 10.
The Prime Minister noted that while this will be an additional expense for drivers, it is one of those decisions that had to be made sooner or later.
In January of this year, a proposal was introduced suggesting a fine of 20,000 AMD for driving without winter tires.
