Artur Poghosyan was appointed as the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, and Eduard Hakobyan as the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee
Artur Poghosyan has been appointed Chairman of the Investigative Committee, and Eduard Hakobyan as Chairman of the State Revenue Committee. This was announced by Nikol Pashinyan during the November 28 session.
Both Mr. Poghosyan and Mr. Hakobyan are not new figures. Mr. Poghosyan has been serving as Deputy Prosecutor General for about two years, while Mr. Hakobyan has held the position of Deputy Minister of Finance for approximately the same period. Prior to that, both of them worked within the law enforcement system, – Pashinyan stated.
Artur Poghosyan has replaced Argishti Kyaramyan in this position, following the latter’s resignation on November 18. Previously, Artur Poghosyan served as the Head of the Investigative Department of the National Security Service. Arthur Poghosyan stated that he would dedicate his professional experience, full potential, and knowledge to strengthening legality in Armenia and meeting public expectations in the field of criminal justice.
Eduard Hakobyan has succeeded Rustam Badasyan as Chairman of the State Revenue Committee. Who also resigned on November 18.
