Armenia has sent a military attaché to India

On November 29, by a decision of the Prime Minister, Arkadia Tonoyan is set to be deployed to India as a military attaché for a 3 year term. The decree will take effect on December 4. The military attaché will be stationed in New Delhi.

In recent years, military cooperation with India has reached a new level. According to The Indian Times, Armenia is one of the largest buyers of India’s defense industry.

Military attachés are part of diplomatic service, representing their country’s armed forces in the host country or in international organizations.

Armenia also has military attachés in other countries, such as the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, the Czech Republic, Germany, the United States, and others.
