In Syunik, a tanker loaded with 20 tons of liquefied gas has caught fire
On December 8, a truck caught fire on the Tatev-Kapan highway. At around 12:30 PM, the Syunik Regional Rescue Department’s Crisis Management Center received a call. This was reported by the Rescue Service.
A “Level 2 Fire Complexity” alert was announced. It was determined that a tanker with a total capacity of 24 tons, 20 tons of which were loaded with liquefied gas, had caught fire.
Two firefighting-rescue squads from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and one combat team from the Aghvani base were dispatched to the scene. They were joined by two additional combat teams and the operational team of the Syunik Regional Rescue Department.
