Moldova Plans to Ban the Operations of Armenian Airlines
Moldova is considering banning the operations of Armenian airlines. The corresponding draft proposal has been submitted for discussion by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development.
The aim of this decision is to align national legislation with European Union standards. Moldovan authorities are not only seeking to prohibit the operations of Armenian airlines but also those of several other countries. These include Russia, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tanzania, Congo, Iran, Libya, and Sudan.
The draft law is expected to be discussed by January 9.
