Five Armenian Grandmasters Included in FIDE’s Top 100 Rankings
Five grandmasters representing Armenia have been included in FIDE’s top 100 rankings for men and women.
In the men’s top 100, Grandmasters Shant Sargsyan (66th place) and Hayk Martirosyan (85th place) secured spots. In the women’s rankings, Elina Danielian (47th place), Lilit Mkrtchyan (58th place), and Anna Sargsyan (80th place) are featured.
Compared to the previous rankings, Shant Sargsyan improved his position significantly, moving from 80th to 66th place. In the women’s rankings, Elina Danielian and Anna Sargsyan climbed by one and four positions, respectively.
