Cooperation Program Signed Between Armenia and Kyrgyzstan for 2025-2026
On January 23, Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ararat Mirzoyan, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev. During the visit, the “Cooperation Program Between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2025-2026” and the “Agreement on Cooperation Between the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic” were signed.
Our countries have many similarities. The situations are similar, the opportunities are similar, and the dangers and risks inherent in today’s trends and geopolitical processes are also very complex. We are part of the same economic integration union, so it is very logical that we should meet frequently. This visit can be considered historic. This is tangible progress. I am very happy about this visit. Once again, welcome, – said Mirzoyan.
The foreign ministers of the two countries noted that there are plans to increase trade volumes, deepen economic ties, and more. The first meeting on economic cooperation between the sides took place in 2022.
