The Sports Complex on Tsitsernakaberd Highway to Serve as a Training Center for National Teams

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports has announced that the National Assembly has approved the transfer of the sports complex located at 5 Tsitsernakaberd Highway in Yerevan to the ministry. Plans are underway to renovate the facility and establish a training center for national teams.

During the January 15 session, discussions were also held on the draft law proposing amendments and additions to the “Law on Physical Culture and Sports.”

The facility currently includes a cafeteria and a dormitory building. It is designed to accommodate around 60 people. There are 2 sports halls, each measuring 1,600 square meters. One of the halls meets international standards for rhythmic gymnastics. The other was previously used for wrestling, judo, and boxing training.
