By the decision of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, the operation of the Erasmus+ office has been suspended
As of January 1, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia has suspended the operation of the Erasmus+ National Office in Armenia. This was announced by the Erasmus+ office team.
The Ministry has provided several justifications for the suspension. According to the statement, Erasmus+ projects mainly facilitated business trips to European universities, often serving a tourism-related purpose, the projects have not resulted in any noticeable impact on Armenia’s higher education system, additionally, the themes of the projects largely did not align with the priorities of developing Armenia’s higher education system.
