Changes Planned for Unified Ticketing System Packages

The City Council will discuss a new program to make changes to the unified ticketing system packages. The proposed changes include:

– Extending the discount for pensioners to all citizens, regardless of their place of registration (previously, only pensioners registered in Yerevan could benefit).

– Providing discounts to low-income beneficiaries, regardless of their place of registration.

– Ensuring that parents with 4 or more children receive discounts under all conditions (currently, the discount applies only if all children are minors).

A few days ago, changes were also made to the pricing system:

– 10 rides for 2,000 AMD, valid for 45 days, instead of the current 2,200 AMD valid for 30 days.

– A single ride ticket for 300 AMD, valid for 180 minutes, instead of the current 90 minutes.

– A daily pass for 900 AMD, offering unlimited rides, instead of the current limit of 8 rides.

– A 7-day pass for 5,000 AMD, offering unlimited rides, instead of the current limit of 30 rides.
