Professional tennis player Elina Avanesyan, representing Armenia, has dropped in the WTA ranking.
In the new WTA ranking, Avanesyan is in 49th place. Compared to last month’s ranking, the Armenian tennis player has fallen by one position. Recently, she competed under Armenia’s flag for the first time at the Australian Open but was eliminated in the first round.
Since August 2024, Elina Avanesyan has been competing under the Armenian flag. Her highest career ranking was 41st in the WTA.
Currently ranked 49th in the world, Avanesyan is competing in the women’s singles at the LINZ Open and has reached the 1/16th round. She will face Czech player Katerina Siniakova in this round.
