The schedule for voluntary certification in 2025 has been published
According to the schedule approved by the order of the Minister of ESCS (Education, Science, Culture, and Sports), the voluntary certification of teachers in public educational institutions in 2025 will be conducted from November 8 to 30.
The voluntary certification for educators implementing out-of-school programs is scheduled for December 6 and 7, and the certification of specialists providing psychological services will be held on November 29.
It should be recalled that approximately 300 history teachers from various regions of Armenia protested against the order issued by ESCS Minister Zhanna Andreasyan on October 22, which made last-minute changes to the certification schedule. We discussed the topic with teacher rights advocate, psychologist, and education expert Armine Davtyan. She noted that a significant cooling has been observed in the teacher-state relations in recent years: platforms exist, but there is no real dialogue. This, according to her, is manifested most sensitively among history teachers, whose work involves risks related to identity, national memory, and ideological pressures.
