Sanitary Violations Found at “Brothers” Production Facility
An inspection conducted at the confectionery production facility belonging to “Brothers” LLC in the Nor Yerznka community of Aragatsotn Province revealed a number of violations of sanitary and hygienic norms, as a result of which the production activity has been suspended.
According to the Food Safety Inspectorate, the walls and floor of the entrance area of the facility were not constructed from waterproof, washable, and disinfectable materials, which are mandatory for food production. Furthermore, accumulations of mold and dirt were found on a section of the ceiling, as well as a risk of particles falling, which could directly affect the safety and quality of the product.
Evaluating the conditions, the Inspectorate decided to suspend the operation of the facility. The company has been given a deadline to eliminate the identified violations and bring the premises into compliance with the required standards.
The Food Safety Inspectorate reminds that supervision in this sector is continuous and aims to protect consumers’ health and ensure production safety.
