Finals of the “RA Prime Minister’s Cup” Swimming Tournament Held in Tsaghkadzor

The school students’ swimming tournament in Tsaghkadzor is coming to an end, with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also in attendance.

1,600 children participated in the tournament, 128 of whom qualified for the finals, representing 16 teams. Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (ESCS) Zhanna Andreasyan noted that students from grades 3–6 and 7–12 participated, with each team consisting of 4 boys and 4 girls. The younger participants swam a 50-meter race, while the older ones competed in a 100-meter race.

Yesterday, Nikol Pashinyan published a video where he met with the children who reached the final stage of the “RA Prime Minister’s Cup” swimming tournament. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan greeted the children and emphasized the importance of engaging in and promoting a healthy lifestyle in Armenia. During the meeting, sports and healthy lifestyle programs were discussed, the children shared their impressions, presented their training conditions, and gave creative performances.

The final took place in the swimming pool of the Tsaghkadzor Sports Complex. The organizers were the ESCS Ministry Committee and the “Armenian Swimming Federation” NGO.
