Papikyan is in Egypt
Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, along with a delegation, has arrived in the Arab Republic of Egypt on a working visit.
The details of the visit’s agenda have not been officially disclosed at this moment.
Days ago, the Minister received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt, Amal Afifi, in Yerevan. During the meeting, Papikyan congratulated the Ambassador on assuming office. They discussed opportunities for developing Armenia-Egypt defense cooperation, as well as a number of regional and international security issues.
An Armenia-Egypt Business Forum is scheduled to be held in Cairo from December 7 to 9, within the framework of the 6th session of the Armenian-Egyptian Joint Intergovernmental Commission.
