Fire on the roof of a residential house
Today at 12:07, a fire broke out in one of the residential houses in the city of Yeghegnadzor, Vayots Dzor region. This was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
Four fire engine crews from the fire and rescue squads of the Regional Rescue Department of the MIA Rescue Service arrived at the scene. It was determined that the fire broke out on the roofs of the residential house, covering an area of approximately 120 square meters, and the garage, covering an area of about 20 square meters.
Firefighters managed to localize the fire at 13:19, and it was completely extinguished at 13:57.
As a result of the fire, structural elements of the house and garage roofs were partially burned, as well as the kitchen ceiling, covering an area of approximately 15 square meters. Household items stored on the garage roof were also damaged.
The causes of the fire outbreak and the extent of the damage are being determined.
