Armenia’s Footballer and Coach of the Year announced
The Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) has published the voting results for the “Player of the Year” and “Coach of the Year” awards.
Eduard Spertsyan, the midfielder for the Armenian national team and Krasnodar, has been named Player of the Year with 17 votes. In 2025, the 25-year-old footballer scored 5 goals for the national team and, at the club level, became a Russian Premier League champion for the first time.
Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan finished second in the voting, receiving 8 votes.
In the “Coach of the Year” category, Vahe Gevorgyan, the head coach of Alashkert, was declared the winner with 13 votes. The Yerevan-based club currently holds the 4th position in the Fastex Premier League.
During the voting, the head coach of the Armenian national team, Yeghishe Melikyan, received 9 votes, while the former head coach of Ararat-Armenia, Vardan Minasyan, received 3 votes.
