Papoyan confirms: fuel is being imported from Azerbaijan to Armenia

As previously reported, another batch of petroleum products is being imported from Azerbaijan to Armenia. Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan confirmed this information during a briefing with journalists.

This time, not only premium-grade gasoline but also regular gasoline and diesel fuel are being brought to Armenia.

According to the Minister, preliminary estimates suggest that the price of the imported fuel will be approximately 80 AMD lower than the market rate. The new shipment is expected to arrive in Armenia in the coming days.

Papoyan did not specify the names of particular companies but added that the imports are being carried out by the same economic entities that were involved in the process previously. On the last occasion, it was the “Mega Trade” company.

The Minister emphasized that the market is open to all economic entities, and anyone can engage in fuel importation.
