Illegal weapons and ammunition found in a food outlet in Vanadzor
Police officers in the Lori Province have revealed that a 36-year-old resident of the city of Vanadzor was illegally possessing weapons and ammunition.
The man was arrested and, along with the prepared documents, presented to the preliminary investigation body, where criminal proceedings have been initiated.
According to data provided by the Police, a search was also conducted at a food outlet managed by the 36-year-old man, located on Yerevanyan Street in Vanadzor.
During the search, law enforcement officers discovered two smoothbore shotguns, three pistols, a total of 56 bullets of various types and calibers, as well as bulletproof vests and an assault rifle magazine.
A preliminary investigation is underway to determine the origin of the weapons and ammunition and the circumstances of their possible use.
