Students unable to participate in exams due to blizzard and heavy snow in Syunik province

A new examination will be organized for applicants from Sisian who were unable to reach the Goris examination center due to closed roads and snowstorms, missing the unified exam in “Armenian Language and Armenian Literature.”

There were 158 applicants registered at the examination center operating in Goris Basic School No. 2, of whom 118 appeared for the exam, while 40 were absent. The reasons for their absence are being examined individually, and only those applicants who were unable to reach Goris due to the blizzard and closed roads will be given the opportunity to participate in the new exam.

The new exam will be held at the end of February so that applicants absent due to circumstances beyond their control can also benefit from the opportunity to take the unified exam twice. This was reported by the Assessment and Testing Center (ATC). The exam will be conducted using new, but substantively similar and equivalent tests, as the tests and correct answers from the previous exam have been published and cannot be reused.
