Person wanted by Interpol arrested
According to the Police, on January 23, officers at Zvartnots Airport arrested a 37-year-old foreign citizen wanted by Interpol Germany.
He arrived on a Moscow-Yerevan flight and was immediately transported to the police station.
As reported by the RA Police, the man had been wanted by the Interpol of the Federal Republic of Germany since November 20, 2025, on charges of robbery under particularly aggravating circumstances. Detention has been applied as a restrictive measure against the arrested individual.
The Interpol National Central Bureau (NCB) in Armenia and the Prosecutor’s Office have been notified of the discovery, and they are proceeding with the investigation.
