Criminal proceedings initiated against Narek Karapetyan
According to the Investigative Committee, the General Military Investigative Department continues the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings against Narek Karapetyan, coordinator of the “Mer Dzevov” (In Our Way) movement, to clarify health circumstances related to his fitness for military service.
Narek Karapetyan has been recognized not only as fit for military service during peacetime but also as fit with certain restrictions during wartime.
A commission forensic medical examination was appointed to identify his potential health issues; however, Karapetyan refused to undergo the examinations.
The IC (Investigative Committee) notes that the preliminary investigation is ongoing.
