Germany extradites suspect in “Call Center” case to Armenia
The competent authority of Germany has granted the petition of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia.
The wanted person, R.P., who is accused of participating in a criminal organization and committing computer-based embezzlement on a particularly large scale by a criminal organization, has been handed over to the competent authorities of Armenia.
Under the instruction of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the safe transfer of R.P. to Yerevan was ensured by officers of the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Armenia emphasized that this step is important for increasing the effectiveness of the fight against criminal organizations and for consistently continuing the legal processes.
It should be recalled that a few days ago, the police at “Zvartnots” Airport arrested a 37-year-old foreign citizen wanted by the German Interpol. The National Central Bureau of Interpol in Armenia and the Prosecutor’s Office were informed about the discovery.
