Unified prayer held at Saghmosavank for detained clergy and captives
This week, the clergy and faithful of the Diocese of Aragatsotn performed their unified prayer at the Saghmosavank monastic complex. During the service, prayers were offered for the detained clergy, persons in imprisonment, as well as for the captured Armenians.
The Diocese informs that the next unified prayer will take place on February 5, at 19:00, at the Saint Gevorg Church in Kosh.
The unified prayers are of a continuous nature. They have been held since the detention of the Primate of the Diocese of Aragatsotn, Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, and are organized every Thursday in various churches of the Diocese.
According to the Diocese of Aragatsotn, during the services, the faithful pray for the spiritual fathers in confinement, imprisoned and captured Armenians, as well as for the steadfastness of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the peaceful and prosperous course of the homeland.
