What is the condition of the 11 citizens transferred from Artsakh to Armenia?
The health condition of the 11 individuals transferred from Artsakh to Armenia is assessed as satisfactory. This was stated by the RA Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, during a briefing with journalists in the National Assembly.
The Minister recalled that 10 Armenian and one Russian citizen, who had remained in Artsakh after the forced displacement, were moved to Armenia on January 23. According to her, everyone has already undergone the necessary medical examinations, including check-ups related to chronic diseases.
“The ongoing solutions to their health problems are at the center of our attention, and the appropriate steps are being organized,” Avanesyan noted.
The Minister also informed that she has not personally visited them, as no such occasion had arisen. At the same time, she assured that the citizens are receiving all necessary medical assistance.
Referring to Vagif Khachatryan, who returned from Azerbaijani captivity and underwent open-heart surgery, the Minister stated that the surgery was successful, and he is currently in the recovery phase.
It should be noted that the wife of Vigen Euljekjian, who returned from captivity in recent days, had raised an alarm about his health condition. According to her, he has neurological problems, has difficulty walking, and suffers from hearing impairment.
