20 servicemen honored on the feast of Saint Sarkis the captain
On the occasion of the Feast of Saint Sarkis, the Vicar of the Araratian Pontifical Diocese, Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan, presented awards to 20 servicemen.
The event is being held for the 11th time. The list of awardees was provided by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
The ceremony commenced with a Divine Liturgy. Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan, Vicar of the Araratian Pontifical Diocese, and Arman Sargsyan, RA Deputy Minister of Defense, welcomed the servicemen and their families.
Private Grigor Hayrapetyan also delivered a speech, noting that the gifts presented to the soldiers by the Araratian Pontifical Diocese on the occasion of the feast oblige them to continue their service with honor, dedication, and faith.
Cadet Daniel Danielyan also spoke, expressing gratitude on behalf of the servicemen for the attention and warm hospitality shown to them.
The event concluded with a concert program.
