Persons wanted for various crimes have been located
On February 4–5, individuals wanted for various crimes were located and detained at different addresses and at Zvartnots Airport.
Specifically, on February 5, a 29-year-old man was located and detained on Shinararner Street; he had been wanted since February 2 on charges of violating the right to drive a motor vehicle. Detention was applied as a preventive measure against him.
On the same day, a 27-year-old man was transported to Armenia on a Moscow-Yerevan flight; he had been wanted since August 4, 2025, on charges of using violence or the threat of violence against a subordinate. Detention was also applied in his case.
On February 5, officers of the Zvartnots Airport department detained a 37-year-old foreign citizen who had been wanted by Interpol Iran since November 6, 2025, on fraud charges. The National Central Bureau of Interpol in the Republic of Armenia and the Prosecutor’s Office have been informed of the discovery.
Another individual, a 40-year-old man wanted on trafficking charges, was located and detained on Shirak Street. He has been transferred to a penitentiary institution.
