Samvel Karapetyan is the Prime Ministerial candidate of the “Strong Armenia” party

The official presentation of the “Strong Armenia” party took place today at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex, during which it was announced that Samvel Karapetyan would be the party’s candidate for Prime Minister. The announcement was made by Narek Karapetyan, the coordinator of the “Mer Dzevov” (Our Way) movement.

According to him, a strong Armenia needs strong leadership with managerial skills and international connections.

Narek Karapetyan also stated that in the event of winning the elections, they will initiate an amendment to Article 148 of the Constitution regarding the procedure for electing the Prime Minister within 20 days, by a 2/3 majority in the National Assembly.

According to him, this amendment will allow any citizen of the Republic of Armenia, including Samvel Karapetyan, to be elected Prime Minister.
