Zhanna Andreasyan visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport, Zhanna Andreasyan, conducted a regular working visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial to observe the progress of the major renovation and improvement works on-site.
The Minister was accompanied by the General Secretary of the MoESCS, Hasmik Hakobyan. During the visit, representatives of the contractor organization presented the works already completed and currently in progress, as well as the upcoming stages.
Within the framework of the discussion, several issues related to quality assurance, technical supervision, and adherence to the established deadlines were addressed. The Minister emphasized the importance of proper and timely implementation of the project, considering the significance of the memorial complex.
As a reminder, the renovation of the memorial is at the center of discussions. The public outcry is due to the construction works; many believe that Tsitsernakaberd is being “demolished” instead of being renovated.
