Two persons detained in the case of the 19-year-old youth’s murder in Sevan
There are two persons detained in the murder case of 19-year-old Aram Khachatryan in Sevan. The information has been confirmed by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the RA.
The agency reported that criminal proceedings have been initiated under the characteristics of murder of the RA Criminal Code (Article 155, Part 1). Public criminal prosecution has been initiated against N. M. and A. M. Detention for a period of one month has been chosen as a preventive measure against them.
The murder took place at noon on February 21 in the central square of Sevan. According to law enforcement agencies, Aram Khachatryan received a phone call and was summoned to Sevan. He arrived at the meeting, after which, according to preliminary data, he was stabbed without any discussion.
The 20-year-old youth was transported to the Sevan Medical Center in extremely critical condition, where he died without regaining consciousness. It was later revealed that he was a serviceman.
