In 2024, 500 elevators are planned to be replaced
Elevators in the capital’s apartment buildings that have been in use for over 40 years are being replaced with new ones. This information comes from the Yerevan Municipality. Already, 260 elevators have been put into operation.
The 2024 budget provides for the replacement of 400 elevators. By December 20, it is planned to complete the replacement of an additional 240 elevators at various addresses in the capital. The addresses were selected based on the degree of elevator wear and tear.
Before being put into operation, the elevators undergo a special inspection and are handed over to residents only after receiving a positive conclusion.
