The “Goy” Theater to Resume Its Regular Operations
The Ministry of Justice has confirmed that the “Goy” Theater’s activities were illegally suspended for nine months, as stated in the theater’s announcement.
On November 4, starting at 11:00 a.m., the “Goy” Theater will resume its regular operations pending the final court decision on the case.
From October 28 to 30, the actors and creative staff of the “Goy” Theater stayed overnight in the theater. The reason was the government’s decision to merge it with the Sundukyan National Academic Theater.
According to government decree N-701, the building is to be allocated to the Sundukyan Theater. The document has now been submitted to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.
