Presidential elections are being held in the United States
On November 5, the presidential elections began in the United States. The Democratic Party’s candidate is Vice President Kamala Harris, the Republican candidate is former President Donald Trump. Harris’s platform is primarily focused on supporting abortion rights, lowering insulin prices, healthcare service costs, and more. Trump’s platform is centered on the economy. He has proposed high tariffs on imported goods, strict border control, and the removal of migrants from the country.
The race between the two candidates has been intense. Both candidates included various celebrities in their election campaigns. Different television channels were constantly publishing statistics about the election outcome. However, to this day, neither candidate has held a clear advantage.
The winning candidate in the election will become the 47th president of the United States and will take office in January 2025 for a term of four years.
