The capital is being cleared of car remnants
By order of the Mayor of Yerevan, car skeletons are being removed from all administrative districts. They are being transported to designated locations. Since the start of the program, about 200 unusable vehicle skeletons and other metal scrap have been removed from courtyards. The cleared areas are cleaned and landscaped.
Old vehicles and useless scrap hinder residents’ free movement, occupy unnecessary space in courtyards and streets, and distort the appearance of the capital.
