Traffic rules are more often violated in the regions than in Yerevan
According to the data published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, from October 14 to November 11, around 36,561 traffic violations were recorded in Armenia.
If we consider the violations in Yerevan, they exceed 9,000. 9,243 cases were registered. In contrast to Yerevan, the number of violations in the regions is significantly higher. 27,318 cases were recorded.
A large percentage of drivers’ violations are related to not fastening seat belts. In the past 20 days, such violations account for 22% of the total violations. 8,068 cases registered.
