Around 549 million AMD will be allocated for Yerevan’s New Year decorations
This year, 549,706,000 AMD will be spent on New Year decorations in Yerevan. This was announced by Yerevan Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan.
According to the Deputy Mayor, the New Year equipment purchased in previous years was intended for reuse in subsequent years. The main Christmas tree was acquired 6 years ago. And the Christmas market booths will also be reused this year.
If we want to ensure proper tourist flows and provide our Yerevan residents with a decent celebration, we must not necessarily increase the budget every year but instead continue to allocate the same amount in the long term, gradually expanding the scope․
New ornaments will be purchased, and the main Christmas tree is planned to be completely renewed next year.
