Seven Years of Armenia-EU Partnership: Reforms, Strategies, and New Horizons

On November 22, the event “Expanding Armenia-EU Partnership” was held, dedicated to the seventh anniversary of the signing of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the European Union. It was signed in 2017. The agreement aims to regulate the relations between Armenia and the European Union.

As a result of the agreement, several reforms have been implemented in Armenia. Among them are the formation of the 4 pillar directions of the police: the introduction of patrol service, the development of conceptual solutions for the newly formed criminal and community police forces, and the police guard, etc.

The launch of the dialogue on visa liberalization with the EU was alsp addressed.

The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, representatives from the government, the National Assembly, and the EU delegation.
