A cargo plane has crashed onto a residential building in Vilnius
A DHL cargo plane has crashed onto a two-story house near Vilnius Airport in Lithuania. As a result, a person has died. And a fire has broken out.
The plane had departed from Leipzig. Around 05:30 in the morning, it crashed onto the two-story house. One of the four people aboard the plane was killed. The DHL plane, operated by the Spanish-based Swiftair airline, crashed just before attempting to land.
Rescue teams have reported that there is no information about the residents of the affected house.
