Fire in a pharmacy warehouse
A fire broke out today at 15:40 in the warehouse section of a pharmacy located on Zoravar Andranik Street in Yerevan. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
According to the MIA, six fire and rescue crews from the Fire and Rescue Squads of the Yerevan City Rescue Department of the MIA Rescue Service went to the scene. Also involved in the work were the duty officer from the Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Situation Monitoring Division of the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization Department, and the on-duty teams from the Psychological Support and Medical Provision Department.
The fire was isolated at 16:17, preventing its spread to adjacent areas. The circumstances of the incident and the extent of possible damage are being ascertained. Data on casualties are not reported at this moment.
