Body of 26-year-old woman found in Hrazdan River
Today, on December 31, at around 09:00, relatives of Lilit Yermalovyan discovered the woman’s body in the Hrazdan River.
The 26-year-old resident of Nor Kesaria settlement in the Armavir region had been missing since December 26. She was the sister of Gor Yermalovyan, who was killed in the 44-day Artsakh War.
According to relatives, she had left the “Armenia” Republican Medical Center in Yerevan at approximately 12:30 and had not returned home. Initially, she was sought by her family and officers from the Mashtots Department of the Community Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RA. For the past two days, rescuers from Yerevan and the Armavir Regional Rescue Department had also joined the search efforts.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the incident. Law enforcement agencies are currently clarifying the circumstances of the death.
