Explosion and fire at a gas station in Talin
On February 16, an explosion and fire occurred at one of the gas stations operating on Yerevanyan Street in the city of Talin, Aragatsotn region. The Ministry of Internal Affairs informed Amnews that the alert regarding the incident was received in the afternoon, around 15:26.
According to the data from the Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, five fire-rescue squads were dispatched to the scene from the operational management center. According to preliminary information, the fire broke out after the explosion; the storage tanks of the gas station and one truck were burnt.
Firefighting operations are being carried out at the scene. The area has been cordoned off, and police and patrol service forces are also working on-site.
According to preliminary data, there is no information about victims or casualties. The causes of the explosion are being clarified.
