Today, December 21, at 23:01 local time, a 4.5 magnitude earthquake was registered in Azerbaijan. It was felt in the town of Jermuk with an intensity of 4-5 points, in several settlements of the Vayots Dzor region with an intensity of 2-4 points, and in settlements of the Syunik region with an intensity of 2-3 points.
According to the seismic network of the Armenian Seismic Protection Territorial Service, the earthquake was recorded 30 km south of the town of Kalbajar, with a focal depth of 10 km.
The intensity of ground shaking in the epicentral zone reached 6 points.
