A Case of Food Poisoning Registered in Vanadzor
The Food Safety Inspection Body reports that a case of food poisoning has been registered in Vanadzor. A public catering point used by citizens has been closed. Earlier, information was received that on December 21, 10 citizens were admitted to the medical centers of Spitak and Tashir cities with a diagnosis of food poisoning.
It was revealed that the citizens had eaten at a public catering point owned by individual entrepreneur Rudik Alaverdyan, operating in the central market area of Vanadzor. Violations of several sanitary and hygienic standards were identified at the location. Food samples have been collected and sent for laboratory testing.
The operation of the public catering point has been temporarily suspended.
