Accident

An accident occurred in the Aragatsotn region, resulting in 13 injuries. The Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Rescue Service reported the incident.

On the morning of January 6, at around 6:20 AM, a fire broke out in one of the apartments of building No. 90 on Araratyan Street in Yerevan. The Crisis Management National Center received an emergency call regarding the incident. This was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Wildfires have broken out near the Aghavnavank community in Tavush Province and the Dzoravank community in Gegharkunik Province. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Rescue Service.

As previously reported, a fire broke out on December 3 at approximately 12:40 PM in one of the warehouses at the Bagratashen border crossing. The identities of the 3 injured individuals have been confirmed: two of them are Iranian nationals.

A house caught fire in the village of Garni. It resulted to one fatality. This was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

On December 27, at 11:41 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received information about a car explosion at a gas station in the village of Ddmashen, Gegharkunik Province, along the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway

The preliminary investigation into the fire that occurred on April 6, 2021, and the explosion on August 14, 2022, at the “Surmalu” Trade Center has been completed
