The “Goy” Theater is demanding a meeting with the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports. They will be received by the Deputy Minister
The “Goy” Theater has been holding a sit-in for a week. The theater is demanding an interim urgent solution from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, requesting that their activities be resumed until a final decision is made by the court and law enforcement authorities.
On the 7th day of the sit-in, the theater’s board chairman and director, Sargis Arzumanyan, stated that there has been no response from the ministry regarding their demand. They have decided to present their request to the ministry and demand a meeting with the minister.
If they didn’t come to us, we came to them to demand that attention be paid specifically to our request.
Arzumanyan added that they have evidence that has led to the opening of a case.
Yesterday, we went to the Human Rights Defender’s office. The day before, we went to the Prosecutor’s Office. There is already evidence and documentation. We have these documents. A case has been opened against specific individuals. The investigation has begun.
