On December 6, the “Goy” Theatre issued a statement, noting that it is facing the risk of being destroyed.
The theatre has long been an important center for laboratory and experimental art, serving as a platform for numerous actors, directors, and other creators to express themselves. We cannot allow the loss of this valuable cultural hub.
The theatre has started a petition. Its goal is to pressure state authorities to reconsider their decisions and ensure the continued operation of the theatre.
The theatre is demanding an interim urgent solution from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, meaning that work should resume until the final resolution of the issue by the court and law enforcement agencies.
The Ministry of Justice had noted on November 2 that the activities of the “Goy” Theatre had been unlawfully suspended for 9 months.
