Azerbaijani gasoline complied with EAEU technical regulations

The batch of Azerbaijani gasoline sold at Armenian gas stations fully complied with the requirements of the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) technical regulations. Armen Kotolyan, the head of the RA Market Surveillance Inspection Body, stated this during a press conference held today.

According to him, no violations regarding the quality indicators of the gasoline were recorded during the conducted inspections.

Kotolyan noted that during inspections at gas stations, the inspecting bodies are not informed about which country the gasoline sold at the given station was imported from.

He emphasized that the inspection body ensures only the maintenance of technical and quality requirements, and supervision is carried out regardless of the country of origin of the gasoline.
